CEPD Offers CE’s for Social Workers and Nurses
GRCC’s Continuing Education and Professional Development department has an upcoming offering for social workers and nurses: Restoring Hope in the Midst of Suffering on March 9, 2010 (6-9 pm). This workshop enables participants to discover new meaning and inner healing potential amidst experiences of illness, pain or suffering.
Suffering is triggered by our body-mind-spirit’s endeavors to signal an increasingly blocked process of inner healing and wholeness. Accompanied by a growing loss of meaning and control and feelings of hopelessness, suffering now becomes a personal crisis of existential proportions. Inner Relationship Focusing offers a gentle, experiential process of body/mind/spirit awareness, presence and listening that helps awaken our inner healer.
