Investiture Reception Location
The reception immediately following the Investiture ceremony today will be held in the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center (atrium and banquet rooms).
GRCC’s Wellness Team is Looking for Runners
GRCC’s Wellness Team is looking for individuals who have accomplished exercise goals like completing races or improving times so that they can be recognized for their efforts. They’re asking all interested GRCC employees who are athletes to send in a list of the events, times and photos (if available) of the events they participated in during 2009.

With so much going on as part of the week of learning that is accompanying the presidential investiture, it’s difficult to attend everything. Fortunately GRCC’s Media Technologies department is able to bring the college streaming video of the excellent presentations taking place. The latest batch is available below:

Three Days Until the Twin Bowl: Tailgater Planned
The Personal Enrichment Team and Twin Bowl Planning Team are excited to announce the Ender Bowl Raffle. Present your RaiderCard at the Raffle Table during the Pre-game Tailgate event (11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) and you will be entered into a drawing for a variety of items including; a $250 gift certificate to the GRCC Bookstore, movie passes, and gift cards. (Must be present to win – drawing will take place during halftime).
The tailgate starts at 11:00 a.m. and features a free lunch and lots of games for kids. Cooking with the pros: GRCC’s Institute for Culinary Enthusiasts classes are open to everyone

For more than a decade, the Institute for Culinary Enthusiasts has catered its classes to the community — giving home cooks the chance to work with some of the area’s top chefs and food professionals. Taking one of the classes is a great way to learn professional culinary techniques and explore ethnic cuisines, says Randy Sahajdack, program director at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education at Grand Rapids Community College, which oversees the program. Reminder: Change Voicemail/Hold Messages for Investiture
Offices that will be closed tomorrow for the Investiture of Dr. Ender are reminded to change voicemail or hold messages (and post appropriate signage) to let students know they will be closed from 1:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. This is particularly important given that the 22nd is the first day of registration for the Winter semester.
