New Harper president installed amid fanfare, family

Harper College President Kenneth Ender described his new professional home as a grand institution with resources unmatched by most other community colleges. But with resources, comes great responsibility, he added. Ender spoke of that responsibility to more than 500 people gathered Thursday on the Palatine campus to witness his installation as the fifth president in Harper’s 44-year history. Fire System Testing in Student Center 11/13/09

Be advised the fire alarm system will be tested around 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov.  13th in the Student Center.  The test is necessitated by the renovation of the Academic Testing Center and in addition final inspections of the renovation will occur with the state fire marshall, and local building, fire and electrical inspectors at the same time.  Employees and students should continue to treat every alarm as though it were a real event, however if the alarm is silenced normal activities may resume.
