SafeZone Learning Opportunity

The SafeZone program is a diversity education program that is tailored to the higher education environment.  The workshop incorporates real life scenarios and practical information to foster an atmosphere of understanding and inclusion.  The program philosophy provides not only a safe space for all people, but also increases communication and understanding among people. One of the goals of SafeZone is to emphasize that all individuals will be treated and respected as human beings leading to a productive, safe and supportive campus within which students and staff may flourish.  The next session will be held on Monday, December 14, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (breakfast & lunch provided).  Register at dlcregistration@grcc.edu.

Mailing Lists and the Address Correction Process

Print Solutions has the software required to review mailing lists in compliance with new Postal regulations. Mailings that go through our process receive quicker processing times and greater assurance that your mail piece gets to the intended recipient by searching the Postal database for new addresses registered by the who has moved and filled out the Postal Move Address Card. This eliminates the delay caused by having to manually forward mail. This software also checks for a valid deliverable address but does not assure that the name on the address still resides there.

All mailing lists submitted through us and run through the software have a correctly formatted address. Undeliverable addresses are sent back to you so that you can review and decide how these can be corrected or not. However, returned mail does occur with this process due to reasons varying from mail carriers mishandling the mail to the intended recipient not actually living at the address given and the current resident sends the mail back. We assure you that we do all that we can to make sure that every piece of mail we can process gets to where it needs to go. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee all pieces will make it to the intended recipient.

The process may begin with either a poem or a sculpture.”  (More) Continue reading
