Culinary students at Grand Rapids Community College soon may train to become ‘personal chef’ to families

GRAND RAPIDS — Like many chefs, Candy Wallace worked for years in someone else’s restaurant until she could save enough to open a place of her own — and then grew weary of working nights, weekends and holidays. Wallace says there’s a growing career option — being a personal chef — for people who love to cook but want a better schedule. (More)
