Students from Northview High School that have participated in GRCC’s Woodrick Diversity Learning Center’s “Diversity Youth Program” (DYP) were featured this morning on “Radio in Black and White” hosted by Rick Wilson and Skot Welch.
The program asked these members of Generation Y about what they feel the future of America will look like, particularly in the context of an interracial, globally-interconnected world.

GRCC’s Payroll and Benefits office has a list of several critical things you need to check as the year draws to a close:
- Using your most recent check or payroll advice, please verify the spelling of your first and last name, mailing address and withholding allowances. If any information is incorrect, please immediately contact the Payroll Office at ext. 4038, 4018, 4175, or 4058. The information on your paycheck/advice is what will be printed on your W-2. If your W-2 is different than your social security card, your earnings may not be credited properly into your social security account.
- New W-4’s should be filled out if you’re filing status or exemption allowances have changed. Forms are available on the payroll web site, www.grcc.edu/payroll or stop by the payroll office.
- If you are currently receiving an “Earned Income Credit” on your paycheck (usually students), a new W-5 form must be filled out no later than December 14, 2009 to receive the credit for 2010.
- If you are currently filing “exempt” on your W-4 (State and/or Federal), you are required to complete a new W-4 no later than February 1, 2010.
