Public Museum of Grand Rapids a ‘giant laboratory’ as museum, Grand Rapids Community College announce partnership

GRAND RAPIDS — Most laboratories don’t come with a carousel, but Grand Rapids Community College professors say that’s how they’re considering the city’s largest museum after a new partnership.  Professors huddled around a fire in a wigwam and sipped wine surrounded by marsh animals at the Public Museum of Grand Rapids on Wednesday, learning how they can use the exhibits, artifacts and staff as resources for their lessons and research.  (More)

Congratulations to Nancy Wagner

GRCC faculty Nancy Wagner (Acting, Voice & Movement Instructor – GRCC Theater/Perf Arts Dept) just received her acceptance into VASTA (Voice And Speech Trainers Association), the sole national organization dedicated to fostering and advancing excellence in the voice and speech professions, which we’re sure will help further our program at GRCC as one “of distinction.”  Kudos!
