GRCC Radiologic Technology faculty members Deb Nordman and Amanda Brand accompany their second year students each year to the Radiological Society of North America convention, also known as the RSNA.  The scientific assembly is the premier annual medical meeting in the world.

More than 59,000 people attended the 2008 RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, including 27,427 professionals from more than 100 countries.  The students were able to see more than 2,400 scientific presentations and posters covering the newest trends in radiological research.  The RSNA offered more than 1,800 education and informatics exhibits and the opportunity to interview experts in all radiologic subspecialties and related fields
