GRCC Black Student Union Presents “Who Are the Black Panthers?

In advance of civil rights leader and activist Angela Davis’ diversity lecture appearance, GRCC’s Black Student Union is presenting a night of film, screening historic footage of the Black Panthers followed by a screening of the movie “Panther” on February 4, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in the ATC Auditorium.

Following the screening, the audience will have the opportunity to engage with community members formerly associated with the Black Panther party via a conference call with the Minister of Communication for the New Black Panther Party.  The event is part of Black History Month and is supported by GRCC’s Library and Learning Commons.
