Showers signs letter of intent with GRCC

Rockford senior Karli Showers signed a national letter of intent for softball with Grand Rapids Community College Jan. 21 in front of her coaches, teammates and family. Karli’s grandparents, June and Mike Rodriguez, traveled from Detroit to witness the signing. The visit was a welcome and emotional surprise for Karli, who thanked her grandparents for their support.
