GRAND RAPIDS — Receiver Demonte Collins hopes to sign a letter of intent with a Division II football program by the middle of the month. Quarterback Casey Therriault likely won’t sign with anyone until after spring practice, which ends in April or early May. Surprisingly, two of the best players from a GRCC team that climbed as high as No. 3 in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll last season aren’t among those who have signed this week to continue their football careers at four-year colleges.
