The Black Student Union (BSU) is hosting “Nourishment 4 the Soul” today from 11:30 am- 1:30 pm in the Student Center Multipurpose Room on the 2nd Floor. The fundraiser features soul food, live jazz featuring Cloud 9, and poetry/spoken word performances by NerCity (pronounced “Inner City”).
The event will be catered by Sandmanns, and on the menu are fried chicken, rib tips, mac and cheese, candied yams, greens, and cornbread. Plates are $8/each and to-go plates are available. (Cash and Raider Card accepted).
