On Thursday March 4th, The I.T. Infrastructure Team will be completing an server upgrade for the Novell Zenworks system that manages lab computers. Outages will take place after the college is closed.

When George Frideric Handel composed his famous “Hallelujah” Chorus, he claimed afterward that, as he wrote, “I thought I saw the face of God.” Were he on hand Saturday evening in DeVos Performance Hall, Handel might have added that he heard the voice, too. Former WOOD-TV meteorologist Ginger Zee to appear on NBC ‘Today’ show

GRAND RAPIDS — When meteorologist Ginger Zee graduated from Rockford High School in 1999, one of her goals was to be on NBC’s “Today” show by age 30. That dream is about to become a reality for the 29-year-old former WOOD-TV ( Channel 8 ) meteorologist. Raider Grille Closed for Spring Break / Quiet Cafe Open
The Raider Grille will be closed Monday, March 1st through Friday, March 5th for the week of Winter Break. Instead, stop by the Quiet Cafe and enjoy Hot Specialty Coffee Drinks, Fresh Soups, Salad Bar, and Grilled Sandwiches. The Quiet Cafe’s hours will be Monday through Friday – 7:00am to 1:00pm.
Soups and Features of the Day will be Posted Daily on Blackboard.
Police Training Exercise in Sneden Hall 3/3/10
The GRCC Police Department will be conducting training on the third floor of Sneden Hall on Wednesday, March 3 from 10:00am – 7:00pm. Access to the third floor of Sneden Hall will be restricted to those participating in the training. All other staff, please ensure that you do not enter that area during that time for safety concerns.

The GRCC Be Healthy Be Fit program is offering two nutrition classes for employees.
- Jim Keating, Adjunct Faculty member in Photography, will facilitate Food Choices, Exercise & Weight Loss on Tuesday, March 16 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Sandy Andrews, Faculty member in Physical Sciences, will facilitate Moderating your Salt, Sugar, Fat, & Cholesterol Intake on Friday, March 19 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
