Even though the GRCC Spirit Award is now presented at the department level by the recipient’s supervisor at a date and time determined by them, we want to include as many employees as possible.  If you would like to receive a GroupWise appointment when the Spirit Award is going to be presented, please send an email to learningacademy@grcc.edu  Your name will be added to an email group that will receive an appointment with the date, time and location to meet each time the Spirit Award is to be presented.

18th Annual Mid-America Guitar Ensemble Festival (3/19/10-3/21/10)

Los Angeles Guitar Quartet

The public is invited to attend the 18th Annual Mid-America Guitar Ensemble Festival sponsored by GRCC which will run March 19-21, 2010.  All Festival concerts and classes will take place in the beautiful Royce auditorium at St. Cecilia Music Center (24 Ransom Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503-3217).

GRCC music faculty Brian Morris is pleased to announce that this year’s guest artists will be the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. They will present a concert on Saturday evening and members of the LAGQ will give a master class on Saturday afternoon. Student Job Fair 3/17/10

Student Employment Services will hold its fourth annual Job Fair on March 17, 2010 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. in the Applied Technology Center (ATC).  Over 300 positions will be available.  Some of the organizations that will be on hand include:  Booking.com, Brann’s Catering, Bunny Tuxedos, Camp Tall Turf, Cedar Point, City of Wyoming Parks & Recreation, Express Employment Professionals, Grand Rapids Parks & Recreation, Holiday Inn Downtown / Pearl Street Grill, Hope Network, Indian Trails Camp, Intepreter Network, LLC, Louis Padnos Iron & Metal Company, Stone Plastics and Manufacturing, Inc., UPS, Walt Disney Company, and Zondervan.
