Ever since Lynsey Roumell and her Style Junkie blog moved on to the Windy City, we’ve been hungry for coverage of fashion goings-on in the Grand Rapids area. Meet our new fasion team (yes, Lynsey, we needed five people to replace you!) […] Raven Jones I spent a year at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I studied Accessories Design and wrote for its newspaper W27. While in New York I also volunteered at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and experienced first-hand the beautiful chaos that is fashion. I study Fashion Design and Merchandising at Grand Rapids Community College while also studying independently to keep an open mind. (More)
West Michigan schools make plans to train workers for expanding battery industry

GRAND RAPIDS — As a third battery company moves closer to announcing plans to open along the Lakeshore, educators are gearing up to train workers for this expanding industry. […] “We have a lot of people with manufacturing experience, but not many that have ‘clean room’ experience.
