College notes: Hope College golfer Steve Strock wins Furniture City Classic

Steve Strock, a Hope College senior from Grandville, won medalist honors at the Furniture City Classic golf tournament Wednesday at Stonewater Country Club.  He shot rounds of 74 and 67 to finish 1-under-par in the 36-hole event. Growing biotech in Grand Rapids: Ferris State plans molecular diagnostics degree
