Steve Strock, a Hope College senior from Grandville, won medalist honors at the Furniture City Classic golf tournament Wednesday at Stonewater Country Club. He shot rounds of 74 and 67 to finish 1-under-par in the 36-hole event. Ferris State University, moving to provide specialized training in a growing medical field, plans to launch a molecular diagnostics program this fall.
