Employee Compensation Study Update

The compensation study team met yesterday afternoon with Mark Knottley from Municipal Consulting for an overview of the current status and time-lines for the compensation study.

Attached you will find the compensation survey that was sent out on June 1 to thirteen colleges and two municipalities. The surveys were sent out with a request that they be completed and sent back no later than July 15.

Mark indicated that June and July will be focused on working to align job descriptions and titles for Meet & Confer positions, as well as determining the education and experience required for each position. This work will serve as a baseline for HR as we move forward with posting positions in the future.

August will be set aside for the evaluation of data received from the compensation surveys, with results being ready to present in mid-September.

All of the documents related to the compensation study are located on our website here.

Please feel free to contact Kathryn Mullins (#3908)  if you have any questions regarding the compensation study.
