GRCC Raider Rally This Friday (8/13/10) – Volunteers Still Needed

Volunteers are still needed for the second annual Raider Rally to be held this upcoming Friday, August 13. There will be 2 volunteer shifts; one from 10am – 12pm and another from 12pm – 2pm.  Student Life is in greater need for the first shift but would greatly appreciate any time you would be willing to give. There is also a training session Tuesday, August 10 from 9:30am – 10am and another from Wednesday, August 11 from 4:30pm – 5 pm in Student Life. To sign up to volunteer please e-mail tgeier@grcc.edu.

The second annual Raider Rally aims to acclimate our new students with all the great programs and services at Grand Rapids Community College. Employees are invited to attend the GRCC Raider Rally on Friday, August 13th from 10am-2pm on the 2nd floor of the Student Center (Please note that this location is different from previous announcements).

The GRCC Raider Rally will allow new students and their guests to visit booths dedicated to campus services, departments, and clubs. GRCC Student Life sees this as an opportunity to engage students before the start of the Fall 2010 term and to better utilize the services that GRCC offers its students. Last year’s Raider Rally drew approximately 1,300 students and guests to the campus for a day of information, prizes, and giveaways.
