Free Blood Pressure Screening

When is the last time you had your blood pressure checked? Have you been told you are hypertensive? Hypertension is known as the silent killer because it is deadly and has no early significant symptoms. Untreated hypertension can lead to and/or complicate many health problems, including coronary heart disease, stroke , kidney failure, heart failure, vision changes and blindness. The WE team, along with GRCC Nursing students is offering blood pressure screening several dates/times throughout the month of October. The first one is Thursday, October 14 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the following locations:

  • Winchester Alley
  • 4th floor Main
  • Raider Grill Foyer
  • 1st floor Science Bldg

Other dates, times & locations:

  • Monday, October 18 1:30-2:30 4th floor Main; Lobby by Art & Bev’s; 1st floor Science Building
  • Monday, October 18 1-2 p.m. Sneden Hall Welcome Center
