These photos were taken by GRCC Interim Executive Director of Communications Lynne Jarman-Johnson at the 2010 César E. Chávez Hispanic Excellence Scholarship Gala (an annual event to honor the values, traditions and legacy of César E. Chávez).
Proceeds from the Gala funded six $1,000 scholarships for local Hispanic students who attend Grand Rapids Community College:
