GRAND RAPIDS — With eyes gleaming and an American flag pin flashing on his lapel, World War II veteran and Robert Clark received his college diploma on Tuesday— 63 years late. Clark was surprised to receive his associate of arts degree hand delivered by Grand Rapids Community College President Steven Ender during lunch at Cascade Hills Country Club, where both play golf.
