The Office of Retirement Services has issued refunds for the additional 3% contribution withheld on wages earned June 14th through June 30, 2010. All checks will be mailed to your home address. Direct Deposit was not an option for this payroll.

Bob Partridge’s retirement party (celebrating 39 years with GRCC) is Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. (with a program starting at 2:45 p.m.) in the ATC Banquet rooms 118-124. It will include a dessert reception.

Here’s a big GRCC thank you to the following organizations for providing a free night of Griffins Hockey fun for GRCC Employees and their families on Wednesday, December 8:

The goal of this initiative is to build excitement and awareness around our great city core. They want to encourage folks who work downtown and leave at 5 p.m. to stay and experience downtown entertainment and restaurants. Check out the pictures of just a few of the GRCC employees and their families who enjoyed the evening.
Faculty are invited to participate in Fulbright GPA Projects for Summer 2011, sponsored by the Midwest Institute for International/Intercultural Education. Each overseas trip involves a variety of lectures, worships, and discussions at hosting colleges/universities, as well as meetings at other political, economic, and cultural institutions, archeological sites and museums.
Note: Only full-time faculty who are teaching in the disciplines of Art, Communication-English, Foreign Languages, Humanities, and Social Sciences can participate. The proposed countries are: China, Czech Republic, Japan & S. Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
