Late surge lifts Kalamazoo Valley Community College men’s basketball team

The Kalamazoo Valley Community College men’s basketball team surged in the second half to overcome Grand Rapids Community College, 76-64, Wednesday on the road. A Povilas Gaidys bucket tied the game at 53-all midway through the second half before the Cougars took control — finishing the game on a 23-11 run — in both teams’ Michigan Community College Athletic Association West Division opener.  (More)
