On Thursday, January 6, 135 new and returning tutors arrived on campus for Academic Supports Semi-annual All-Tutor Training. New tutors experienced an introduction from the NEW Director of Academic and Developmental Support Services, Yumi Watanabe, a practical Role of the Tutor session, and a campus-wide Scavenger Hunt. All tutors enjoyed a social lunch followed by an informative talk by Sara Dorer on how to deal with incivility.
