Fun During Winter Break: Crazy Office Olympics

Three teams have signed up for the Crazy Office Olympics: Abid’s Angels; GRIT; and Hoxie’s Honeys. We need at least 6 teams to hold this event. If the names of these three teams are any indication, this is shaping up to be a great competition.

This is during Winter Break for all those folks who are not going someplace sunny. This will be a 5 member relay team competition. Here are the requirements for teams:

  • Team captain designated
  • Team name
  • Teams need to design a uniform or “look”
  • Teams need to create a flag to carry for the “Opening Ceremony”
  • Every team member must participant in one challenge
  • Teams must register by Friday, February 11 Here

Thanks From Sustainability Council

This thank-you came from GRCC’s Sustainability Council:

On behalf of the Sustainability Council, I would like to thank you all for your efforts and success in implementing duplex printing as the default selection as we migrate to our new print solutions. As you know, this will help the college significantly reduce our use of paper, and as we report our paper usage to the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment through our Greenhouse Gas Inventory Reports and design our Climate Action Plan, default duplex printing will play a key role in demonstrating our core value of sustainability at GRCC.

With much gratitude and appreciation,

Moss Ingram
