New printers, new information

As most of you are aware, the new Canon MFPs (Multi-Function Printers) are appearing around campus.

Please take a moment to watch this video.  It will familiarize you with the new printers and how they work.

Next, you will need to install new printer queues on your work-station to print to the new MFPs.

GRCC, Northwood University sign articulation agreement

Yesterday President Ender and Keith Pretty, the president of Northwood University signed a new articulation agreement. We now have five transfer articulation guides to a Bachelor of Business Administration at Northwood:

• Accounting
• Fashion Marketing & Management
• Entertainment Sports Promotion Management
• Entrepreneurship
• Hotel Restaurant & Resort Management

This agreement replaces an earlier one that was  signed in May of 2010.

 

Weather updates

Kent City schools are closed, so our English 101, will not meet today.

Rockford Public Schools are closed today and Dan Clark is making a determination if our classes can be held tonight. Watch for details.

GRCC Transfer Fair Tomorrow (3/24/11)

Give students a heads-up that GRCC will hold a University Transfer Fair  Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.  in the Wisner-Botrall Applied Technology Center (ATC) 151 Fountain NE, on the corner of Fountain and Ransom.

Students can learn about transfer requirements, obtain catalogs and other transfer information, and meet with college and university representatives. Sponsored by Counseling, Advising and Retention Services.
