On Wednesday March 30, the children from the Bear Room had a Field Day with Jodi Kuyt’s Elementary Games and Rhythms Class (WE 157). The college students led the group of 4 and 5 year old children in several games including Simon Says, Sharks and Minnows as well as Follow the Leader. In addition to that, the students also taught the children some specific skills such as dribbling and shooting a basketball, hitting a ball that was tossed to them as well as one that was sitting on a tee. We had a great time and were very tired after all of the exercise.
