Here’s a testimonial from past Formation Retreat participant, Tracy Payne:
When I attended Formations in the Summer of 2007, I felt this experience had an impact on me personally and professionally. I seemed to have been more at peace with everything in my life … work and outside of work. When I get frustrated at work I NEED to remind myself of the “place” I was when I left Formations. I was more relaxed and at ease with who I am than I would have been had I taken a one-week vacation. I feel this
type of event effects the College one-by-one and on a more personal level. It made me feel that the College as a whole cares about each person individually. I wrote a lot when I was at Formations … the sharing and how it was facilitated along with the place itself worked wonders in me. It was not only a bonding experience with my colleagues, but a rejuvenating, peaceful, calming, and enlightening experience personally … things I didn’t expect to be able to bring to the workplace, but have.
