Full- and Part-time Faculty interested in teaching GRCC’s First-Year Experience course, CLS 100, are invited to an overview to the course on Friday, May 13, 2011 to explore the course. Topics will include: Introduction to FYE, GRCC’s First-Year Students, resources available to CLS 100 students and faculty, overview to text and electronic resources, and retention statistics for CLS 100 students. You will also hear from a panel of past CLS 100 faculty on what worked and what did not work.
