Second and Third Shift Employee Celebration

Custodians that work while the rest of us are home in bed, were honored for their years of service to GRCC at a reception held for them at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4. Recipients were John Hunt & Tommy Brown with 5 years of service; Zeke Cortez, Don Dykstra & Tine Bouchard with 10 years of service and Steve List was honored for 20 years of service. Also, as part of the celebration, 3 teams competed in a Minute to Win It type toilet paper game winning prizes and lovely trophies made of sponges. Science Camp for 5th-6th Graders at GRCC

GRCC is hosting a Science Camp for students June 27th, 2011 through July 1st, 2011. Students entering 5th and 6th grades in the Fall of 2011 are eligible to participate.

Students will engage in hands-on activities and be introduced to the exciting fields of biology, chemistry, geology and nutritional biochemistry.

Pickup: Items available for pick up beginning the next day (Friday) after the sale from 9AM to 4 PM at GRCC, 133 Winchester Place NE, Grand Rapids, MI. After Friday pick up by appointment only @ See for pick up details.

This sale will contain limited computers, electronics, technology, books, lost & found, etc. Grand Rapids Community College cannot guarantee complete sets. All items will be sold as is. Purchased items must be removed from the college campus within two weeks from date of sale as indicated above (by appt). Purchased items not picked up will be returned to stock.

A one-hour orientation for new NEMs will be held in mid June.
