State Board of Education plans “listening and discussion” tour stop in Grand Rapids

The state Board of Education is planning a “listening and discussion” forum in Grand Rapids on May 23 to hear about the “current education conditions, reforms, and the future direction of education in Michigan.” The event is planned for 4-7 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Community College’s DeVos Campus, 415 Fulton Street. Farmers Insurance welcomed Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson to their Caledonia campus on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 to receive a recognition award from the State of Michigan for Outstanding Performance in Motorcycle Safety.
