In this course, participants will learn to navigate the Drupal system (the content management system used to update the new version of GRCC’s website), understand and use content types, and edit existing content.  Employee Professional Development & Enrichment are offering Drupal Basics on the following dates & times:

2011 Flanagan Golf Outing Raffle Winners

The Annual Mike Flanagan Golf Outing has come and gone for the 28th time. Even though the weather was cold and rainy, the turnout was great. We hosted 144 golfers and 160 joined us for the banquet and awards. The following people walked away winners:

GRAND RAPIDS – Davenport University President Richard Pappas wants to be clear – the downtown center opening in the fall is not a response to Grand Valley State University’s business school expansion. The university for years was based on East Fulton Street and Prospect Avenue, but sold the campus to Grand Rapids Community College, last summer moving its last offices to the W.A. Nurses Care Team Participates in Relay for Life

The GRCC Nurses Care Team will be participating in Relay for Life Downtown GR this Friday June 10-June 11. The event takes place at Ah-Nab-Awen Park from 3p-3p.

Ten Associate Degree Nursing Students and their Professor Vicki Meyers will be “carrying the weight of Cancer” for all those who have been touched by this Disease. They will walk in shifts carrying handweights, adding 2 # every hr until the final hr 24 when all 11 team members will be walking and carrying a total of 44 # of handweights. They will be lifting the burden or the “weight” of cancer! Each team member is committed to remain on site for the 24 hrs to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.
