Photos – Reverse Transfer Agreement Signing

Yesterday, surrounded by employers, elected officials, students and staff, the presidents of four area universities and Grand Rapids Community College signed a Reverse Transfer Associate Degree Initiative consortia agreement, further enhancing the “transfer and articulation” partnership that exists between these educational institutions.

Under the partnership agreement, students from Davenport University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University could be granted an earned Associate Degree by combining credits from their transfer school with the credits they have previously earned from GRCC.  Read more here.

Please join the GRCC Foundation, supporters, community leaders and friends of GRCC as we celebrate Mr. Wege on October 11 at the GRCC Wisner – Bottrall Applied Technology Center.  Proceeds will fund GRCC Scholarships, GRCC’s greatest unmet need.

Great ready for a BIG PARTY! Casual! Roam around with friends! The evening will highlight some of Mr. Wege’s passions from the State of Michigan—and have fun doing it!

Enjoy fabulous cuisine and melodies from our Secchia Institute for Culinary Education faculty and staff and the GRCC Music Department.  Several unique sponsorship opportunities are available and individual ticket price is $150.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with a short program at 7:30 p.m.

GRAND RAPIDS— Four area universities are partnering with Grand Rapids Community College on the “Reverse Transfer Associate Degree Initiative”.  Dr. Richard J. Pappas of Davenport University, Dr. David L. Eisler of Ferris State University, Dr. Steven C. Ender of Grand Rapids Community College, Dr. Thomas J. GRCC raises tuition for 2011-12 school year

Holland, MI — The Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees voted to raise tuition for the 2011-12 school year in a budget work session last week. The move comes despite budget cuts, cost-saving changes to health insurance plans and a reduction in employee benefits.  (More)
