This week, I worked with a student was very upset with me because I would not change her NS grade. She was very concerned about the impact NS would have on her personal loan. During the height of financial aid craziness, Jan Boynton took time out to meet with the student and me. She very calmly and patiently explained all the ramifications to the student. Thanks to Jan, the student went away with a better understanding of the process and I learned a lot along the way too. Thanks Jan! If it weren’t for you, I think the student would still be in my office!!
