This week Workforce Training, (Training Solutions), began training LG Chem’s first 90 hires for their new Holland, Michigan plant. Mary Hofstra and Elisa Alvarez worked hard to pull the entire plan and materials together with only a three week lead time. Steven Ray, Troy Walwood, Mary Brown and Mark Rusco led the highly rated training sessions. David Houseman, Elleena Chrzan, Deb Stout and Joy Copin helped prepare materials over evenings and weekends. A special thank you to the Holland Mid-town campus team, Miguel Espinoza and Dan Clark who assisted with space, A/V, technology, and Holland coordination. Way to go team! We’ve started training a brand new industry.
