On Thursday, September 8, 2011 Student Congress and Campus Activities will be hosting a brief memorial service observing the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It will take place on the Bostwick Commons at 10:00 a.m. The brief ceremony will include readings by GRCC Student Veterans.

Lyon St Road Closure 9/7/11-9/9/11
Lyon St. between Division and Ionia will be closed from September 7-9, 2011 for the replacement of sewer lines. The detour advised for westbound drivers is Division to Pearl to Ionia, and for eastbound drivers is Ionia to Crescent to Division. More information available here.

Oumedian, a 1949 graduate of Kettering University, will be among the eight honored by the Kettering University Alumni Association for professional excellence and civic engagement when Kettering hosts ceremonies in Flint on Sept. 10. The deadline for the submission of grant applications for the Support Staff Professional Development (SSPD) program is 4:30 p.m., September 23, 2011.
