GRCC Nursing Students Promoting Health in African American Community With Rhythm Run

GRCC AD 155 nursing students will be assisting at the Grand Rapids African American Health Institute (GRAAHI) Rhythm Run (5K Walk/Run and health fair) on October 1, 2011 located at Martin Luther King Park. Students will be arriving by 0800 and race starts at 0900 with the health fair to follow.   “Taking it to the streets Grand Rapids” is this year’s motto,” and the event focus is on improving the cardiovascular health of the community. I would be happy to give more info regarding GRAAHI’s mission/vision.
