Grand Rapids engineer honored at Kettering University

Armen G. Oumedian, of Grand Rapids, will receive one of the highest honors presented by Kettering University in Flint. He will be among eight honored by the Kettering University Alumni Association for professional excellence and civic engagement on Saturday. […] His service to the university includes contributing more than $100,000 in scholarships for students employed in West Michigan, creating the Kettering Technology Award, establishing the Eagle Scout Scholarship fund, founding the “Classroom of the Future” project, and committing $20,000 in a matching grant to create a fund to sponsor two LITE participants from West Michigan and arranging an academic partnership between Grand Rapids Community College and Kettering.  (More)
