This year the Wellness and Enrichment Team is switching things up; starting the first week in October they are offering 5 different group exercise classes in many different locations for the rest of the semester.
How it works:
- The fee to participate in classes is $40.00 per semester and you get to attend as many different classes as you would like.
- Sign up in the current learning opportunities and choose a class that you would like to attend the majority of the time (your “primary class” if you will).
- Attend that class and ANY OTHER CLASS that you would like – as many times as you would like. Really – it’s like a VIP – ALL ACCESS PASS to a rock concert – except you get to exercise.
How to sign up:
- Choose your class under current learning opportunities, bring (or interoffice mail) a $40.00 check (made out to GRCC) or cash to Staff Development (100 Admin Bldg) and get your exercise on.
- They will give you the class schedule so you can participate as much as you would like.
Drop in option: (if you don’t want to make the “primary class” $40.00 commitment)
- If you would prefer to just drop in on classes – feel free! There is a $5.00 fee for drop in classes and you don’t need to commit to any primary class.
- There is no need to pre-register – just show up! Check the Staff Development site for class dates and times.
What to wear: You don’t need to have an “outfit” – just bring some shorts or cozy pants and a t-shirt along with comfortable “gym shoes” and you will be ready to go.
