The West Michigan College and University Presidents’ Compact Committee Presents The Inclusive Campus: Climate, Pedagogy, and Scholarship
October 6 – 7, 2011 Robert W. Sneden Center, Davenport University (6191 Kraft Ave., Grand Rapids, Michigan).
This regional conference is open to college and university faculty, staff, administrators, and students. The conference begins with a keynote address on Thursday evening and concludes on Friday afternoon after a series of papers, panels, and workshops that address issues surrounding the inclusive campus, pedagogy, and current diversity related scholarship.
JoAnn Moody, PhD, JD – Keynote Speaker
A nationally known faculty developer, diversity consultant, and author of the book Faculty Diversity: Problems and Solutions, Dr. Moody will be speaking on best practices that not only promote inclusion but also avoid common mistakes that exclude members of the campus community.
