GRCC Ice Guru ArtPrize T-Shirts are now available for purchase in Student Life. After renegotiating with the vendor we are able to sell them for $5 each! Available in tan or yellow.
On Thursday 10/6, (weather permitting) GRCC will practice fire drills on the main campus and at the Tassell M-TEC.
We will be timed on evacuation of the buildings and checked for doors left opened. Take a moment to plan your best evacuation route. Please assist in moving students out and away from the buildings.
These drills are in anticipation of the unannounced visit held by the Grand Rapid Rapids Fire department each fall.
The Dental Assisting Class will be selling Pink toothbrushes, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
They will be selling them Monday October 3 and 10 and Wednesday October 5 and 12, from 11:15 – 12:15 on the 4th floor Main Building and by Subway. There will also be a sample size toothpaste and floss, along with the toothbrush. Cost: $3.00

Grand Rapids Community College surpasses $15 million goal for renovations

GRAND RAPIDS – Grand Rapids Community College leaders say they’ve surpassed their $15 million goal to renovate buildings on two campuses. The college is renaming one of the renovated buildings, Warren Hall on the DeVos Campus, after Stewart Edward White Hall, a writer whose lumber baron father, T. Stewart White, built the converted home in 1907. (More)

Many read like warning tales telling children that if they don’t behave, the Boogie Man will get them. Davenport, GRCC sign nursing deal

GRCC nursing students can now complete courses toward a bachelor’s degree at Davenport while continuing their classes at GRCC under an agreement signed Tuesday. “Davenport University is proud to collaborate with GRCC as we contribute to a well trained workforce in the state of Michigan,” said Dr. Karen Daley, dean of Davenport University’s College of Health Professions, in a release.
