In its continuing economic development efforts, GRCC will hold a Workforce Training Open House to showcase the many opportunities for work that exist in the West Michigan market today.
Area employers will be on hand, as well as instructors from GRCC’s many job training programs and attendees can meet with local human resource professionals to find out exactly what qualities and abilities companies look for in prospective employees. They can also learn about GRCC’s Pathways to Prosperity grants and if they qualify for higher education funding.
The Workforce Training Open House will be held on Thursday, December 1, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at GRCC’s Leslie E. Tassell M-TEC, 622 Godfrey Ave. SW.
GRCC Workforce Training programs offer individuals the opportunity to upgrade their career with certifications in the growing fields of Healthcare, Entrepreneurship, Advanced Manufacturing, Customer Service Skills, and Renewable Energy.
