Yesterday GRCC held the second of two “Workforce Training Open Houses,” events designed to help the unemployed get access to the education they need to become employable in West Michigan. On hand at GRCC’s Tassell M-TEC were area employers and instructors from GRCC’s many job training programs, and attendees met with local human resource professionals to find out exactly what qualities and abilities companies look for in prospective employees. They also learned about GRCC’s Pathways to Prosperity grant and if they qualify for some education and training funding.
