Student Employment Services sponsors The Anchor Award, which is a monthly award that recognizes Student Employees for contributions to their department and to the college based on a different trait/skill each month. The nomination quality for December is Change/Adaptability.

The Anchor Award Winner for December is Ericka Ford. Ericka is an Office Assistant in Experiential Learning and was nominated by Tiffany Falcon-Ewigleben, who wrote that:

“Ericka is willing to adapt as our department has (and continues to) adapt, going with the flow while maintaining her positivity and friendly demeanor. She has an inherent understanding of how organic and varied our work in the Dept. of Experiential Learning is, while allows her to be comfortable while remaining professional, with any situation that comes her way.”

Congratulations Ericka!

Next month’s recognized skill/trait is Humanity/Diversity (January). If you would like to nominate a deserving Student Employee, please contact Chris Allen at or extension 3738.
