2012 Great Decisions Foreign Policy Discussion Series

These topics are offered Monday evenings in February from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM in the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center (enter off Robinson Road, just west of Plymouth Ave.), FREE for students. faculty and staff.

February 13: “The Cyber Frontier: Cyberspace Confronts Cybercrime,” Dr. Sheila R. Ronis, Project on National Security Reform, Washington DC

February 20: “End Game: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq,” Dr. George A. Lopez, Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame

February 27: “Promoting Democracy: In America’s Interest?”, Lorne W. Craner, President, International Republican Institute, Washington, DC

Important Procard Information

Issuance of the Procard represents GRCC’s trust in and empowerment of the cardholder to act as a responsible agent to safeguard and protect college assets. Your Procard is intended for low-value, low frequency, approved expense purchases that benefit GRCC.

Type of purchases your Procard should be used for include:

  • MRO (Maintenance Repair Order)
  • Seminar fees (job related)
  • Books or journals (job related)
  • Wherever a Check Request might be used
  • General Services
  • Subscriptions
  • Trade shows

Procards should not be used for frequent recurring purchases, especially those that are expected to exceed $10,000 per fiscal year. Additionally, do not use the Procard in place of other established purchase systems (i.e., Office Supplies, Food Services, Printing Service items)

Never use your Procard for the following transactions:

  • Food
  • Alcohol
  • Gasoline
  • Air Fare
  • Travel related expenses
  • Entertainment
  • Chemicals w/o MSDS
  • Consulting services
  • Capital equipment (greater than $250.00)
  • Tuition reimbursement
