The Ice Carving Team of GRCC’s Secchia Institute for Culinary Education did well in Frankenmuth this past weekend at the National Collegiate Competition. Luba Petrash’s team took 5th place overall in the multi-block, four-hour competition with a bronze medal. GRCC students took two bronze medals; on individual blocks Ryan Klotz received a bronze that was very close to a silver and Jessica Miller’s was less than a point from a bronze.
