500 jobs to be available at GRCC job fair

GRCC’s job fair on Wednesday March 14, will host 32 companies looking to immediately fill a multitude of positions ranging from manufacturing and logistics to healthcare and entertainment. The job fair, sponsored by GRCC’s Student Employment Services Office, will take place from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the first floor of the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center in the Atrium and Banquet Rooms 122 and 124.  (More)

Rare composition pays tribute to queen

A six movement jazz composition filled the Theatre of the Doudna Fine Arts Center to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday. The EIU Jazz Lab Band played Duke Ellington’s “The Queen’s Suite,” which was composed in 1958 for the Queen of England.
