A GRCC plumbing supplier, Acorn Manufacturing, recently donated a donated a water bottle filler that was installed by Martin DeVries on 4 main in the elevator lobby. Any refillable bottle can now easily be filled with cold filtered water.

MyDegreePath is a web-based student degree audit program designed to help students track their degree progress, identify classes for registration and to build a semester by semester plan to graduation. Learn how to read a MyDegreePath audit, use it as an advising tool, utilize notes, assist students in planning and running a “what if” audit. SSPD Grants: September Funding Opportunity
The deadline for the submission of grant applications for the Support Staff Professional Development (SSPD) program is 4:30 p.m., September 21, 2012. The SSPD application packet and SSPD Guidelines are available in the GRCC Internal Grants area of the Grants Office website at www.grcc.edu/sspdgrants

Emergency Communication Tests Planned
Campus-wide emergency communication drills are planned for Wednesday and Thursday, September 5 & 6. We will be conducting drills of the entire communication system:
- Emergency Phone Alert System
- Outdoor pedestals and PA systems
- All forms of electronic communication (email, web, text message)
- Text to Voice auto calls
- Social media
Following the drills, we will be asking employees and students to provide feedback via a web survey. I

All 50 spots in Wyoming’s middle college program with GRCC filled as school year approaches

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Wyoming Public Schools has filled all 50 seats in a program that will see students work toward an associate’s degree while earning their high school diploma. The program, which is being launched Sept. 4 and is known as Wyoming Middle College, will see sophomores from the district dual-enroll at Grand Rapids Community College while completing their high school education.
