The GRCC International Guitar series will host Vladimir Gorbach, 2011 Guitar Foundation of America Winner, Thursday, November 8, 2012. Internationally acclaimed guitarist Vladimir Gorbach has captivated audiences and won awards across Europe, Australia, the United States and his native country of Russia. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the GRCC Music Center. Admission for all concerts is $10, and $7 for students and seniors. One dollar parking is available in the GRCC student parking ramp with a GRCC guest parking voucher sold at the door.

What began in 2005 with the signing of the Community Sustainability Partnership, has lead Grand Rapids to be named the most sustainable midsize city in the nation, and Grand Valley State University to strive to improve in the area of sustainability…It was then, in 2005, that GVSU joined the Community Sustainability Partnership, which partnered the university with the city of Grand Rapids, along with the Grand Rapids Public Schools, Aquinas College and Grand Rapids Community College.
