Fashion and Interior Design students go nautical in Festival of Trees

Fashion and Interior Design students have created a nautical-inspired holiday scene for their entry in the 2012 Festival of Trees at the Muskegon Museum of Art.

This year’s theme is “Holiday Tide,” and the students’ creation evokes the breeze and ease of being at the lake while capturing the holiday spirit.

The festival, which also includes a gift market and music, runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays from November 23 to December 2 at the museum, 296 W. Webster Ave. in Muskegon. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for museum members, $3 for ages 3 to 17 and $14 for an all-festival pass. Details: (231) 720-2570.
